Hello dr amateurfriend welcome to my homepage.
I mainly make only digimode QSO-s especially PSK modes and active on bands 160m, 80m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, 2m.
First two-way communications in PSK took place on 24th September 2010 with station RV3EFP in mode PSK31.
PSK31 was developed and named by English amateur radio operator Peter Martinez (G3PLX) and introduced to the wider amateur radio community in December 1998.
PSK31 was enthusiastically received, and its usage grew like wildfire worldwide lending a new popularity and tone to the on-air conduct of digital communications. Due to the efficiency of the mode, it became, and still remains, especially popular with operators whose circumstances do not permit the erection of large antenna systems and/or the use of high power.
Small calculation shows that, as of today: 17.05.2012 I have done in DIGI mode 5661 QSO-s, on 341 different days, its an average about 16.60 QSO a day, on 53 different weeks, its an average about 106.8 QSO a week, on 12 different months, its an average about 471.75 QSO a month, with 4004 unique callsigns, with 1316 unique names, with 34 YL stations, with 87 countries, with 39 ITU Zones, with 3382 unique gridsquares, with 3028 unique QTH-s, with all 6 continents(WAC) & 2652 QSO-s are confirmed on eQSL | Last 100 eQSL-s | 837 QSO-s are confirmed on LOTW | Last 100 LOTW | 772 QSO-s are confirmed on QRZ.COM & 26 SWL reports confirmed on eQSL (Only SWL Callsigns).
Digimodes are not popular in Estonia, I have made Digi QSO-s only with 11 different Estonian Stations.
